the title is called second attempt because i made the bonehead move of taking it outside to clear coat the scribble mark before varnishing. well, needless to say I ended up spraying a nice light coat of white over it instead of clear coat. i went back and painted over it and actually left some areas where it was sprayed. could lend for some future experimentation though?!
